我們常說 " We wish you a Merry Christmas! " 但邀請朋友來聚會時又說 " I hope you can come. " ，究竟Wish 和Hope 要怎麼用才對呢？今天就來為大家解答
Hope 但願，用以表達真實狀況
Wish 但願，用以表達假設狀況
簡單來說，就是 Hope 發生的可能性較高，而Wish 發生的可能性較低
|
hope / wish + to + Vrt (原型動詞) Example： 1. We hope to arrive the destination before midnight. 我們期望能在午夜前抵達目的地。 2. The boys wish to meet the basketball star in person. 男孩們期望能親眼見到籃球明星本人。 |
|
hope / wish + for + 名詞 / 名詞片語 (a / an+ adj + N) Example： 1. The family hopes for a bigger house in the future. 這個家期望未來能有一個更大的房子。 2. I wish for a job interview from Amazon. 我期望能獲得亞馬遜的面試機會。 |
(1) 但願希望語法 (真實狀態)
用Hope 來表達過去、現在或未來三種不同情境下的希望

S + hope that S + V (s / es) 表示現在希望 Example： I hope that my favorite team can win the game. 我期望我最喜歡的隊伍可以贏得比賽。 |

S + hope that S + Vpt 表示過去希望 Example： I hope that I didn't say those words then. 我希望我當時沒有說那些話。 |
|
S + hope that S + will + Vrt 表示未來希望 Example： I hope that he will attend the wedding on time tomorrow. 我希望他明天會準時出席婚禮。 |
(2) 但願希望語法 (假設狀態)
又回到第一篇文法懶人包的假設語氣啦！所以別忘了動詞時態往前推

S + wish that S + were / Vpt 表示與現在事實相反的假設語氣 Example： I wish that I were at the scene of the concert now. 我期望我可以在演唱會現場。 |
|
S + wish that S + had + Vpp 表示與過去事實相反的假設語氣 Example： I wish that I had taken your advice at the time, but I didn’t. 我希望我當時能接受你的建議，但是我沒有。 |
|
S + wish that S + would / could / should / might + Vrt 表示與未來事實相反的假設語氣 Example： He wishes that he could go to the party with us tonight, but he has to do assignments. 他希望能跟我們⼀起去參加今晚的派對，但是他必須要做功課 。 |
(3) If only 但願 / 要是...就好了
Note： 與Wish 用法相同，但語氣上比Wish 更強烈
